My Visit to Guanajuato
In 97, after I graduated from the School of Baja California, in Tijuana, Mexico, and started my first job, I decided to take my first trip with my best friends. I was undecided on what city i was going to go to. After a small research all of us found the city of Guanajuato. We chosen this town because it provides a lot of sites and is a colonial city. However , the thing that lead me decide is that this city remind me of the story of Romeo and Juliet. Guanajuato was an extraordinary experience packed with mystery, with places which can be dangerous and a city that a majority of people is going to fall in love with.
Guanajuato is well known because the city from the mummies. After i visited the museum, We though it might be mummies like the ones proven on TV, draped in white-colored gauze. When I arrived at the museum and saw photos at the access, I was scared of what my eyes were seeing. There were pictures of dead people. I was frightened; nevertheless, I decided to start the tour around the museum. The first section of the tour was your explanation of how people become mummies following death. In line with the tour guide, these kinds of mummies had been found a lot more than 150 in years past. By that time people who were poor did not have enough money to get a coffin for their useless relative therefore they hidden them in the ground with the cloth that they liked the majority of. The dirt in Guanajuato was full of minerals, for this reason the people were transformed into mummies naturally.
Even as drove throughout Guanajuato, we all found that there were many tunnels. These types of tunnels had been created a long time ago as a result of mines. Guanajuato is famous for really mines of gold, metallic and copper. We took a tour about the first gold mine. It was most dark, with only a few tiny lights to illuminate the way where we were going for walks. The little boy, who was the tour guide, was explaining the way the gold was found.
